Harborough charity that helps people across the district appoints a new trustee

Well-known retired teacher Linda Kvatch has joined Market Harborough and the Bowdens Charity as a trustee.

The former primary school teacher and keen singer is an active member of the community.

Linda was president of Great Bowden WI for four years and sings with the WI Choir and Great Bowden Church Choir.

She is also a volunteer tour guide at Lamport Hall.

Linda also helps to support disabled tennis players at Market Harborough Tennis Club in Great Bowden.

She will be known to hundreds, if not thousands, of former primary school pupils across Harborough.

Linda worked for many years as a supply teacher as well as teaching at Welford School for 14 years.

Adrian Trotter, chairman of Market Harborough and the Bowdens Charity, said: “We are delighted to welcome Linda as a trustee of the charity.

“Across the board of trustees we want to reflect all parts of the community in Market Harborough, Great Bowden and Little Bowden.”

He added: “As trustees our mission is to engage with the organisations and individuals who can benefit from the help that the charity can give.

“We are incredibly lucky in this community to have a legacy that enables us to support so many aspects of Harborough life.”
