Festive donation for Harborough Fayre helped ensure Santa came to town

A festive donation helped ensure Santa came to town at the Harborough Christmas Fayre.

Housing developer Taylor Wimpey donated £800 to support the fayre, which was used to set up a Santa’s Grotto.

Children who visited each received a gift and met Mrs Claus and her elves.

Other activities at the event included a fun fair, Santa’s reindeer enclosure, carol singing and a snow machine.

Fayre director Juliette Maher said: “Our Christmas Fayre is a fantastic event and we look forward to welcoming friends and family from the community every year. It really helps to get everyone into the Christmas spirit.

“Donations such as this from Taylor Wimpey ensured we were able to include our main attraction, the Santa’s Grotto, which was enjoyed by all and for that we are extremely grateful.”
