The Classic Car Show in Market Harborough has fallen victim to the coronavirus pandemic for the second year running.

Harborough District Council, which stages the annual town centre spectacular, is acting amid continuing uncertainty over major public events.

More than 25,000 people flooded into Market Harborough when the show was last held on a beautiful July day in 2019.

The council is hoping to host the popular extravaganza next year as the country successfully combats the Covid crisis and the brilliant NHS vaccination programme is rolled out across the population.
