One person injured after car crash in the north of Harborough district

One person was injured after two cars collided in the north of Harborough district yesterday afternoon (Tuesday).

The crash happened at about 4.55pm on Stoughton Road, Thurnby.

The road was closed off as police, ambulance crews and firefighters all raced to the scene.

“One person was treated for minor injuries,” said Leicestershire Police.

“The cars were recovered and the road was reopened at around 7pm.”
