North Kilworth housing petition
Villagers in North Kilworth, near Lutterworth, have started a petition against a proposal for 36 to 40 homes an open land to the east of the village.
Objectors say the proposed development site would “blight views over open countryside” that the residents of Elmcroft Road, Station Road and Rosedale in the village have enjoyed for years.
A petition against the scheme was due to be placed in the Howkins Esso Garage on Lutterworth Road in the village.
A spokesman for North Kilworth Parish Council said the site was only a possible development site for the future, and all feedback from villagers was welcome.
