Lutterworth Rotary Club is now gearing up to stage its annual Plant, Craft and Food Fair at Misterton Hall on Sunday July 25 after postponing it for a month.

The club’s popular show was due to be held from 10am-4pm this Sunday (June 27).

But it will now go ahead on Sunday July 25 instead after the Government delayed lifting all remaining Covid-19 lockdown restrictions until Monday July 19 at the earliest.

Enthused club president David Ayres said: “We are really looking forward to Sunday July 25 when we hope to bring a little joy to our community after this very long period of restrictions.

The Rotary Club of Lutterworth would like to invite everyone in Lutterworth and the surrounding villages to join us if only for a short while on the day.

“It will be a great way to end our ‘lockdown’.”

Gates will open at 10am and entry is £5 per adult – and it will be free for children under 16 if they are accompanied by an adult.

“As well as our Plant, Craft and Food stalls we will have musical entertainment and children’s activities available all day,” said David.

“If you have a classic or vintage vehicle, why not bring it along and enter it into our show.

“Entry is £5 per car, all passengers enter the fair for free.

“We are hoping to see lots of you turn up to enjoy our fantastic show on the day.”
