Lutterworth indoor car boot sales return for a 20th year

“I think it must be about 15 or 20 years now,” the Lutterworth woman told the Mail.
And her next series of charity events are on their way back to Lutterworth this month, offering bargains galore for shoppers.

Hide AdMyra holds the events to raise money for Clic (Cancer and Leukaemia in Childhood) Sargent of which Myra is a member of the Lutterworth branch.
Myra is following in the footsteps of her mum Elma Keatley, who started the sales decades ago.
Myra has been running the sales on her own for the past seven years.
Mrs Keatley, of Lutterworth, died in December 2010 at the age of 84 and during her lifetime raised an amazing £100,000 for charity.

The next indoor car boot sale – so-called because it reiterates the point that it is like a car boot sale but indoors rather than a table-top sale – is taking place this Saturday.
Stalls sell a wide variety of goods including books and handicrafts.
This Saturday’s event runs from 2pm until 4.30pm.
The sales are held at The Wycliffe Rooms in George Street, Lutterworth.

It costs £5 to have a stall at the events, which must be pre-booked in advance.
Most have already been booked for this Saturday’s event but people can still try to book one, just in case someone drops out at the last minute.
Entry then costs just 50p for bargain-hunters.
For more details, or to book a stall, telephone Myra on 01455 556 426 or 07796 093 342.
