Hundreds of bales have been destroyed in a barn fire in Hallaton this morning (Saturday June 27).
Firefighters from Kibworth Fire Station were joined by crews from Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service, Uppingham Fire Station and Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service Market Harborough Station to deal with the blaze.
A spokesperson from Kibworth Fire Station said: "On arrival we requested the water carrier from Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service Loughborough Station.
"Crews remain in attendance."
