GP retires after nearly 20 years at Lutterworth surgery

A popular GP of almost 20 years’ service retired last weekend from her Lutterworth surgery.

A popular GP of almost 20 years’ service retired last weekend from her Lutterworth surgery.

Doctor Jane Taylor, who has worked in the Masharani practice on Glimorton Road since 1995, leaves the surgery after a lifetime’s work in urban and rural practice.

Dr Taylor graduated from the University of Manchester Medical School in 1975 and served her elective at the Christian Medical College (CMC) in Ludhiana, India. She worked in Bolton and London before moving to Leicestershire in 1993.
