Fire damaged a house in Desborough on Thursday afternoon (September 10) after a candle was accidentally knocked over.

Firefighters tackled the blaze at the home in Addison Road, Desborough, after the alarm was raised just before 4.30pm.

The fire is thought to have destroyed furniture in the living room but no-one was hurt.
