Fly-tippers who have struck in a pretty Harborough village are being hunted by the district council’s specialist environmental crime team.

The offenders have piled up a stack of building waste, including window frames, as well as beer bottles and other rubbish on Mowsley Road, Saddington, near Fleckney.

They have dumped the waste deep in the countryside, by a wild grass verge and just feet from a tall hedgerow.

“Our environmental crime officers are investigating a fly-tip on Mowsley Road, Saddington.
