The busy waste and recycling site on the town’s Riverside industrial estate was opened to the public seven days a week last December, to help compensate for the year-long closure of the county council’s tip on the A6 at Kibworth.
But the tip will shut again on Thursdays and Fridays from Thursday June 9.
The council is acting to free up staff to allow its site at Bottesford to re-open.
