Two teenagers have been quizzed about drug offences after they were arrested by police at a popular park in Market Harborough.

The boys, aged 17 and 18, were detained by officers at Little Bowden Recreation Ground, off Northampton Road.

They were held after being searched by police.

A quantity of suspected Class A and Class B drugs was seized by police.

The two suspects have now been released under investigation as further enquiries are carried out into the incident.

Police are urging people to continue to report suspected criminal behaviour both in Market Harborough and throughout Harborough district.
