Three men caught in possession of cannabis in Broughton Astley

Three men have been dealt with by police in Broughton Astley for being in possession of cannabis.

They were in a group of men stopped in their car today (Wednesday) by officers in Estley Road in the Harborough district village.

The trio were all handed a community resolution after being found to have cannabis on them.

“All were searched and three found to be in possession of cannabis which was seized and the vehicle searched.

“All three were issued with a community resolution,” said Harborough police.

A community resolution resolves a ‘minor offence’ or anti-social behaviour incident through ‘informal agreement between the parties involved’.
