The dark blue motor’s “poor condition” attracted the attention of officers – and landed the driver in a lot more trouble.

He didn’t have a valid driving licence, driving insurance or MoT certificate.

The driver is now set to be fined at least £500 and have nine points slapped on his revoked licence – as his vehicle was seized.

“Lutterworth police have stopped this vehicle due its poor condition, wing and bumper being held together with cable ties,” said Harborough police.

“Having no valid driving licence, insurance or mot didn’t help him either.

“At least a £500 fine and 9 points to his revoked licence."
