Teenager attacked and threatened with a machete in Desborough by robbers on e-scooters

Two robbers demanded he hand over his wallet and phone - and then punched him when he refused

A teenager was injured after he was attacked and threatened with a machete in an attempted late-night robbery in Desborough.

The 19-year-old was waiting at a bus stop on Braybrooke Road when two men on e-scooters drew up and demanded he hand over his wallet and phone.

One of the robbers punched him in the face when he refused.

The teenage victim suffered an injury to his left eyebrow and a lump on his head after he was assaulted.

The attack happened between 10.30pm and 11pm on Sunday May 16.

Eye-witnesses or anyone who has information about the attackers are being urged to call Northamptonshire Police on 101.
