A stolen car has been seized by police after a sharp-eyed off-duty officer spotted it being driven “erratically” near Market Harborough.
The white SUV’s driver was quickly stopped by a patrol car after the alarm was raised.

Hide AdOfficers made one arrest as they found the vehicle had been stolen last month – and was carrying false number plates.
“The driver of this car was seen to drive erratically near to Market Harborough earlier by an off-duty officer and stop-checked shortly afterwards.
“Found to have been stolen last month and on false number plates,” said Harborough police.
“One arrested and a very grateful owner updated.”
