Police hunt vandals who smashed streetlights in Desborough

The hooligans seriously damaged the lamps on Rushton Road and Pipewell Road, Desborough, after throwing heavy stones at them.

Angry residents have been forced to go out and clear up shattered glass from pavements outside their homes after a string of criminal damage attacks over the last few weeks.

Northamptonshire Police are now urging anyone with any information about the offenders and any eye-witnesses to contact them by calling 101.
