Police have been carrying out speed checks on a busy main road running through a Harborough village.

Officers set up their equipment on the A47 over the weekend after villagers in Tugby complained about speeding drivers and motorcyclists.

Residents also told police they have been having problems with the “anti-social use of motorcycles” in the tiny village in the north of Harborough district.
