A man has been charged with serious driving offences – including drink-driving – after he was stopped by police on the M1 in south Leicestershire yesterday (Sunday).
Eugen Movilau, 34, of Nottingham Road, Derby, is to appear in court after he was pulled over by traffic patrol officers at junction 19 yesterday afternoon.
Movilau has been accused of driving without insurance, driving without a licence and drink driving.
He is due to appear at Leicester magistrates’ court on Thursday June 24.
