Man accused of fox hunting in a Harborough district village

A man has been accused of fox hunting in a Harborough district village.

William Hanson, 32, of Swinbrook, Oxford, has been charged with ‘hunting a wild mammal with a dog and that the hunting was not of a class exempted by Schedule 1 to the Hunting Act 2004’.

He was arrested after “an incident involving a fox” in the Peatling Magna area on Saturday January 8.

Hanson is now due to appear at Leicester magistrates’ court on Wednesday July 13.
