Goran Todorovic, 20, of Pawley Gardens, Eyres Monsell, Leicester, has been charged with two counts of burglary dwelling and theft.

The suspected burglar was detained by police from Lutterworth and Harborough in Wigston on Friday August 14.

Todorovic was held after two burglaries were carried out in Birstall overnight from Thursday August 13 into Friday August 14, said Leicestershire Police.

Two youths aged 17 and 15, who cannot be named legally, have both been accused of two counts of burglary dwelling and theft and theft of a motor vehicle.

They relate to the same incidents.

A man of 19 and a 17-year-old youth were also arrested over both incidents.

They have been freed as police enquiries continue, said Leicestershire Police.

Lutterworth Police said: “Some of these offenders live on our area.

“Most are youths and so we cannot name (them).

“Well done to all involved.”
