Four boys, aged just 13 and 14, have been arrested by police after they were spotted breaking into a house in Desborough.
The youngsters were detained by officers following the incident at 2pm yesterday afternoon (Tuesday).

Hide AdA passer-by raised the alarm after spotting intruders forcing their way into the property in Harrington Road, Desborough, through a window.
The boys, three aged 13 and one aged 14, quickly gave themselves up to police who had surrounded the house backed up by a police dog.
Neighbourhood Policing Sergeant Ken Brown said: “This was a quick response following a call from a member of the public.
“I hope it reassures people that we are quick to react when a crime of this nature is reported to us.

Hide Ad“The four boys were returned home to their parents while we investigate this incident further.”
Sgt Brown added: “I hope they have learnt their lesson that it is not right to enter other people’s homes and that we will act swiftly to pursue anyone who does so.”
