The driver of this van was forced to walk home on a red-hot day yesterday (Sunday) after they were pulled up by police in Harborough district.

They were stopped by Lutterworth-based officers because the vehicle appeared to be in “disrepair”.

And police quickly established that the driver didn’t have insurance or a driving licence either – and they are now facing a fine and penalty points.
