Car collides with four parked vehicles on busy road near Lutterworth

A car collided with four parked vehicles and a property on a busy road in a village near Lutterworth last night (Monday September 14).

The freakish crash happened just before 8.30pm last night on Lutterworth Road, Walcote, police said.

Officers “found that one car had collided with a number of parked vehicles and part of a property”, said Leicestershire Police.

As well as police, firefighters, East Midlands Ambulance Service and Crouch Recovery also raced to the scene on the main A4304 road.

A man and woman in the car which sparked the collision were treated at the scene by ambulance crews for “minor injuries”.

No one else was injured and no one was arrested, said police.

Lutterworth Road was closed and drivers told to take other routes as the spot was cleared following the five-vehicle accident.
