Armed police backed up officers as they carried out a raid on a travellers’ site near Market Harborough yesterday (Monday).
Police recovered two suspected stolen items as they executed a search warrant at the Greenfields site on Braybrooke Road, near Great Oxendon, at 11am.
The operation went ahead after Northamptonshire Police received a tip-off.
But the force declined to reveal what was recovered by officers in the raid for “operational reasons”.
No arrests were made.
