Come Dine With TV winner Dave at a charity pub night

He won an episode of the TV show Come Dine With Me two weeks ago. And now Kibworth company director David Lynes is going to share his winning meal with the general public - with profits going to charity.

You can Come Dine With Dave at the Kings Head, Smeeton Westerby on Saturday, February 6.

Dave’s delicious, three-course dinner winner - scallops on butternut squash, fillet of beef en croute and sticky toffee pudding - will be available at the pub for £17.50.

All profits go to the GEMS charity, set up by a Kibworth couple to help make patients and visitors more comfortable when they visit the Oncology Unit in the Osborne Building at Leicester Royal Infirmary.

“I lost both my parents to cancer, and I think GEMS is a great cause” said Dave. “Obviously cooking for 40 or 50 people will be a challenge, but I’ve taken plenty of advice.”

Book on 0116 279 2676. And if February 6 gets fully booked, Dave will do a second night.
