Organised by Harborough based couple Charles and Anne Barton, the dinner and jazz event is being held in aid of the New Futures Nepal charity. Charles and Anne have been involved in the charity since visiting the area 14 years ago. Shocked by the levels of deprivation they witnessed, the couple became trustees of the charity, which is run entirely by volunteers.

The jazz dinner is being held at the Nepali run restaurant Avatar on St Mary’s Road. The Nepali menu will be complemented by music from Fino and Len, a guitar jazz duo. The evening starts from 5pm on Sunday, February 7, and costs £15 per head for a two course meal and music.

To book a place at the charity dinner call Avatar on 01858 462752 or Charles and Anne on 01858 432063.
