Things will be coming up roses in Foxton.

Canal artist Alison Root is hosting a Rose and Castle Painting workshop on Sunday November 12, 10am to 4pm, at Foxton Locks.

Alison will teach participants to paint roses in the traditional canal art style, used to decorate barges as well as items used on board.

Budding artists will decorate a small bucket they can take home.

Painting materials, refreshments, lunch and parking are included.

Tickets are £55 and available from the eventbrite website.
