People and businesses across Harborough are being asked about their “experiences of support” from the council during the Covid-19 lockdown.

The in-depth study comes after the Government closed schools, shops, businesses and other venues in March and asked the public to stay at home.

You are being encouraged to respond to the Harborough District Council survey.

Questions are also being posed about the local Community Hub, which provided practical assistance to vulnerable residents.

Businesses are being urged to air their views about support available - and about their main concerns as they return to town centres.

The anonymous study will help the local authority understand how people have been accessing information and services - and what they think of the council’s response to the crisis.

“This will help inform a review of how council services can improve future communication with residents and businesses, and continue to provide effective support across the whole of the Harborough district,” said the council.

The survey can be found online here: www.harborough.gov.uk/covidresponse and will run from Wednesday October 7 to Wednesday October 28.

Cllr Phil King, the council’s leader, said: “We want to continue to be able to help residents stay safe and have peace of mind.

“That if they need to access support or information as the pandemic continues, it will be readily available.

“This survey will help the council fine-tune support services and communication accordingly.”
