More than two dozen playgrounds and play areas across Harborough are being shut.

Almost 30 play areas owned by Harborough District Council are being sealed off to youngsters and their families.

The local authority is closing the popular open play spaces “in line with Government advice on social distancing to help prevent the spread of coronavirus”.
