The number of Covid-19 cases in Harborough have doubled in a week.

Some 22 people tested positive for the coronavirus across the district in the seven days up until Monday (April 19).

That was up from 11 the week before - but Harborough’s figure is still the lowest in Leicestershire.

All but one of the 22 most recent cases were in people aged under 60.

Harborough’s infection rate per 100,000 now stands at 21.3 – below the national average.
