More than £5 million of emergency Government Covid cash has so far been handed out to almost 2,000 struggling local businesses by Harborough council.
The authority has processed over 1,960 successful coronavirus support grant applications and paid out over £5,401,500 to help shore up embattled companies and entrepreneurs in Harborough district.
