Latest figures show which neighbourhoods have the highest - and lowest - vaccination levels in the Harborough district

About 40,000 people have now had the first dose of a Covid vaccine in the Harborough district.

The latest figures show that 37,086 had the jab up between December 8 and March 7, so the number is expected to be higher today.

Nearly all people aged 70 and above have now had their first vaccine shot - all of them have been invited but a small amount still have not come forward. The lowest rate is in the Market Harborough Central ward where 12 per cent of people over 70 have still not had their first jab.

Here are the all the figures for the various wards, in order of the lowest to the highest percentages of people vaccinated with the first dose.

Total number of people vaccinated: 3,337

Market Harborough South & Little Bowden

Total number of people vaccinated: 3,647

Tilton, Billesdon & Great Easton

Total number of people vaccinated: 2,632

% of total population (over 16s) vaccinated: 50%

Market Harborough West, Great Bowden & Lubenham
