Teacher Melanie Pickford said their talented children are sending a clear message of hope to their community.

Melanie said: “We thought it would be a nice thing for children to do in these strange times.

“They have done really well and we are proud of them.”

She added: “Our pupils want people to try to stay happy despite everything.

“We usually have just over 200 pupils aged from 4-11.

“But today on Wednesday we only have about 10 children here so it’s very different to say the least.”
