You will still be able to buy a range of tasty food at iconic Harborough Market today (Tuesday March 24).

The general hall at the medieval market – which stretches back 800 years – is closed amid the coronavirus emergency.

But Mrs J's Fresh Eggs, The Bent Tin, Jams n Jars & Rural Trading will all be in the Food Hall with your regular food traders.

They will now be trading from 8am to 3pm, Tuesday to Saturday.

Social distancing measures have been put in place to ensure customers queue two metres apart as numbers are restricted.

“The Market team thank all valued customers, loyal traders and hard-working staff for their support during these difficult times,” said a Harborough Market spokeswoman.
