Three quarters of adults living across Harborough have now had a Covid-19 vaccination - and almost half have had two jabs.

The new coronavirus landmark was hit over the weekend after an extra 1,700 doses were given to people.

Nearly 99,000 vaccinations have been given to people across Harborough district since December – and almost 39,000 men and women have had two shots.

A remarkable 75.5 per cent of people aged 18 and over have had their first jab with 49.3 per cent now fully protected after receiving both.

People aged 32 and 33 are now being invited to book their first vaccination in Harborough.
