Pupils at a primary school in Market Harborough are celebrating a fantastic set of results.
Youngsters at Ridgeway Primary Academy on The Ridgeway have performed much better than the average in national tests.

90 per cent of Year 6 children achieved the expected standard or above in maths (79 per cent national), 88 per cent in reading (65 per cent national) and 88 per cent in writing (78 per cent national).
Angela Dewes, executive headteacher at the school, said: “We are delighted with the results and they are a testament to the hard work of the pupils and staff.”
Children in Year 2 also did very well in their end of key stage teacher assessments.
An impressive 83 per cent hit the expected standard in reading (75 per cent national), 75 per cent in writing (69 per cent national) and 78 per cent in maths (76 per cent national).

Ridgeway, a member of the Learn Academies Trust, still has places available for September 2020 entry.
