Dozens of students got locked in Harborough school for 24 hours - all for a charity fundraiser
The pupils, aged from 14-18, took part in the popular annual event at Robert Smyth Academy on Burnmill Road on Thursday February 6 - Friday February 7.
And they aim to have raised hundreds of pounds for their two chosen charities – the Teenage Cancer Trust and CLIC Sargent.

“It is the 13th year we have run the event at Robert Smyth.
“And it was great to see the massive engagement and supreme efforts of our students once again this year.”
Mike said Year 8 pupil Erin and her Year 11 brother Ben launched the gruelling fundraiser by giving brilliant speeches about the school’s two nominated charities.
“The attitude and behaviour of students was superb from start to finish.

“All our students paraded their own banners and wore outfits at the start to represent their chosen Olympic country,” added Mike.
“After all the events and the talent contest the winners were Greece’s ‘The Gods of Lock-in’ with ‘Kenya feel the love tonight’ second.
“Canada’s the ‘Slumberjacks’ came in third and China’s ‘The Expandables’ ended up fourth.
“We are now looking forward to collecting a lot of money for our twin chosen charities over the next few weeks.”
