Vick said: “I have been busy writing a new film script at Fifty Eight, actually it’s a welcome break from the day to day running of the place.

"The new film Brown Sugar is a Rockumentary following a band’s farcical and doomed tour of India.

"It is semi auto-biographical and I hope to have Tom Hardy play the part of one of the musicians. I was at a boarding school with Tom but didn’t imagine he’d become a Hollywood actor any more than I thought I’d be owning restaurants.

“More often than not when I am working on a film, I’ll do a lot of it in Harborough.

The score I wrote for a film currently being shown at New York’s Museum of Modern Art was recorded here.

"In Harborough, I can run Fifty Eight and spend time with my family while keeping busy in the film industry.”

Vick explained he uses the pseudonym Tyrax Ventura outside of Harborough for much of his musical work and laid claim to the surname name long before the famous film franchise of a similar name.

He added: “I was 17 when I chose the name. I wasn’t aware of the famous Highway in California and ‘Tyrax’ was loosely based on the dinosaur. The name is a bit Hollywood but I am definitely Vick in Harborough.”

Meanwhile Vick hopes to renovate Fifty Eight's terrace which overlooks the River Welland and St Mary's Place by adding a pagoda and making it more of an all-weather space.

Fifty Eight are set to celebrate their first year since opening and will throw a party for staff and customers at the end of the month.
