The Nottingham-based business led the way with their chicken, leek and ham pie in the Fish & Chip Shop Class.

The popular pie is going down a storm at The Cod’s Scallops in Harborough as well as its sister branches in Wollaton, Carrington and Long Eaton.

This is the second year running that the chippie’s hooked top prize in the category, coming first with their steak and ale pie in 2019 with their vegan Balti pie runner-up.

Founder of The Cod’s Scallops, John Molnar, said: “We’re over the moon to have won top prize with our fantastic pie once again.

“I’m so proud of the hardworking team we have across all of our sites and our success this year is a massive credit to them all.”
