Broughton Astley Leisure Centre has welcomed its members back to group exercise classes this month.

After the successful reopening of the site on April 12, Monday May 17 was the date many have had in the diary as group exercise classes are now able to resume in line with government guidance.

Safety precautions have been implemented on the site, as well as increased cleaning by staff (and by users themselves), ventilation and social distancing.

Broughton Astley Leisure Centre has welcomed its members back to group exercise classes this month.

Mike Price, contract manager, has said: ‘We have developed a varied programme to celebrate the return of indoor group exercise and have staggered times of classes to fit with gym sessions. This allows for easy movement around the centre.

"The demand for the sessions is definitely there having spoken to members upon their return. We are very happy to see our members return with such confidence."
