A return to his roots has led a top London hairstylist to open his latest salon in Market Harborough

Thomas Hairdressing is the newest business to open in Market Harborough.

For Thomas Potts, it is a return to his roots. He is relocating back into the area after working in London’s West End, where he was privileged enough to work in one of the country’s best hairdressing salons. He honed his skills by watching and learning the intricacies of cutting there, before qualifying and building up his own clientele.

Thomas worked on celebrities’ hair in the salon, on photo shoots for top magazines such as Marie Claire, Style and Bazaar. He has also been part of high-end catwalk fashion shows, worked for several TV campaigns including E4, QVC and L’Oreal and worked on hand as a hair stylist for numerous Sony music videos.

And now he’s ready to bring all this expertise to the town centre. Combining this experience with a relaxing professional atmosphere and customer care normally only found in top London salons, Thomas Hairdressing Salons offers clients the choice of a variety of professional, highly trained and caring stylists all able to create a new look or add something extra to an existing style.

“I was born and raised in Market Harborough,” he said. “London was an amazing experience but Market Harborough is my home and to be able to open up my own hair salon in beautiful surroundings of Church Street, right in the town centre is a dream come true. I truly believe my team here is incredible; they are all experienced and experts in their fields, to have them all under one roof is special. I am a very lucky.
