Victoria Wood & Me is performed by local actress Mo Shapiro, right.

The show sees Wood’s hilarious songs and sketches, performed with her permission, tell the story of Gladys Winter, a part written by Louise Roche.

Gladys is Victoria’s number one fan and their lives have had a spooky synchronicity. “We were born on the same day, the same year, the same hospital - so, we could almost be twins!”

Wood’s genius for finding the comic in everyday life cheers Gladys’ otherwise ordinary life.

Gladys has developed the uncanny knack of morphing into one of Wood’s best loved characters at the slightest sign of trouble.

It can be seen on Wednesday June 10 with the doors opening at 7pm. The performance starts at 8.30pm.

Tickets for the show cost £10 and can be booked by visiting www.skiddle.com.
