Associate Professor Gillian Proctor, a survivor herself, said: “We want to provide support, self-care resources, and community connections for those who have gone through the challenges of breast cancer treatment.

“Our goal is to create an environment where survivors feel empowered to embrace life after treatment. I know myself how hard it can be."If you’ve been struggling with the loss of identity, femininity, or self-confidence post-treatment, you’re not alone. We’re here to offer practical guidance, share resources, and connect you with local services designed to promote lifelong well-being and positive mental health."

Research shows 44% of women diagnosed with breast cancer say it negatively impacts their body image. Some 25% say it harms their sense of identity while 33% say it impacts their self-esteem for the worse.
