Grab your tickets, strap yourselves in and get ready to be wowed by the latest movies hitting the big screen at Market Harborough’s very own new drive-in cinema.

You can now snap up a spot in your car at the 90-acre Showground site off Leicester Road and have a top night out as the new picture house website goes live.

“Come along, grab your popcorn and enjoy a film,” said Michael Preston, managing director of Fleckney Events.

“We are super excited to be able to bring such a unique attraction to South Leicestershire.

“We hope you all embrace our new venture and enjoy an alternative way to enjoy the big screen.

“With epic titles such as Godzilla vs Kong, Mortal Kombat, Judas and the Black Messiah, Those Who Wish Me Dead, The Suicide Squad, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It and many more,” said Michael.

You will have to fork out £25 a car or £35 VIP for the “ultimate experience”.

“You can bring as many people that can legally fit in the car (abiding by Covid guidelines) and you can also sit outside the vehicle with chairs/blankets welcome.

“A VIP ticket guarantees you a spot closer to the screen in our reserved area and you will also be able to order food to your car via a waiter service,” added Michael.

There’s a £2 booking fee per car.

Sound will be broadcast over a top-notch PA system and portable car speakers.

“We’ll have a large selection of food and drink, including burgers, hot dogs, chicken wraps, loaded fries, pizza, vegetarian options, popcorn and a whole load more.

“We’ll be screening our movies on a brilliant huge 8.5m x 4m LED screen with the latest state-of-the-art technology.

“We’ll bring you the very best picture quality and experience, even during the day.”
