Ramping up the noise for music festival in the county

Organisers of a music festival in Leicestershire starting today (Thursday) are planning to put together the best party possible.

The Noisily Festival comes to Noseley Hall estate and runs until Sunday July 12.

After a highly successful 3rd year and rave reviews from attendees and publications alike, Noisily Festival of Music & Arts is now firmly established on the UK festival map bringing a diverse line-up of electronic music to the county.

The event saw attendancedouble in 2014 with the addition of the Liquid Stage, and a huge stepup in production levels.

Combining the diversity of Glade Festival with the creative and artistic values of Secret Garden Party, this event is attracting a new audience who appreciate the attention to detail missing from so many of the larger and more corporate dance music orientated events.

Noisily 2015 will see the arrival of a truly alternative music area, combined with achillout lounge space and café, somewhere for tired party goers who need to warm up inside and rest their weary feet without having to go back to the camp.

Talking about performing at the festival, one of the artists performing, Xander said: “Festivals are very different when there is nothing you have to do.

“I love playing gigs. But I’m always very ‘aware’ on the day and especially if I have been talking over loud music the whole time, I’m generally a bit worried about my voice and things like that.

“When you are just there as a punter you can just go on whatever adventures present themselves.

“I think at Noisily I’m playing on the Friday night so that makes adventures the rest of the time more likely!

“It’s mainly going to be me performing tunes from the new album, Hymns, which is being released towards the end of 2015, plus some of oldies thrown in for good measure, and most likely a collaboration or two as there are some wicked artists sharing the bill with me that night.”
