Tickets for a show featuring music from a classic era of rock and roll have started to go on sale.

The band Let’s Hang On will return to the Octagonal Hall Theatre in Market Harborough to bring a celebration of the music of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons to the venue on Saturday December 5.

The night of classic music is being fronted by Robin Maughan, who was brought up in Market Harborough.

He said: “Come celebrate Christmas with the show as they perform all the hits of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons plus much, much more.

“If you like the Jersey Boys you will love this exciting show which has been around for 10 years.

“Acclaimed by Frankie Valli himself and people have quoted that it’s as good as or better than the Jersey Boys.

“After a sell out nationwide tour they descend into my home town and I am looking forward to it.

“We will hope to see you all there.”

The show tells the story of how four New Jersey boys from the wrong side of the tracks invented their own sound and became one of the biggest pop sensations of all time, selling more than 100 million records.

It features hits like Can’t Take My Eyes Off You, Oh What A Night, Walk Like A Man, Bye Bye Baby, Big Girls Don’t Cry, Working My Way Back To You and more.

Tickets for the show are priced from £20 and can be booked by calling the box office on 01858 443512.

There are discounts available and anyone buying 10 tickets will be able to get one free. There is also disabled access and space available and people are asked to contact the organisers if they need help.

The Harborough Mail has teamed up with Robin to offer one lucky reader a free pair of tickets to see the show, at Welland Park Academy’s Octagonal Hall. For a chance to win a pair of tickets call 01858 443512 with your name and number and a winner will be drawn on Thursday, November 12.
