Then head straight for Harborough Theatre to watch The Titfield Thunderbolt at 7.45pm.

Made back in 1953, the classic was the first iconic Ealing comedy to be filmed in colour.

Starring such acting greats as Sid James and Stanley Holloway, the film focuses on villagers battling to save their beloved local steam railway.

And the intriguing warm-up to the main event will be a short movie about the dramatic explosive demolition of the cattle bridge at Harborough station in 1967.

The silent colour film was made by Nigel Pickering, office manager at local home furnishings shop H Monk & Sons and a co-founder of Harborough Cine Club.

Tickets are £7 on the door for non-members.
