New drive-in attraction for movie, music and comedy events is set to be opened in Harborough

A new multi-entertainment drive-in attraction is set to be opened up at the Showground on the edge of Market Harborough.

The exciting new venue will feature a huge screen and stage for movie, music and comedy events at the 90-acre site on Gallow Field Road to the north of the town.

Corporate functions and wedding receptions are also set to be staged there.

The new venture, poised to bring thousands of customers, guests and spectators into Market Harborough as the town bounces back from the pandemic, is being spearheaded by Fleckney Events.

Based on Wentworth Road, Fleckney, the company put on drive-in cinemas at the Showground last year.

Fleckney Events are set to plough tens of thousands of pounds into the bold new venue – with work due to start in May.

The entertainment complex will boast its own dedicated entrance, off the B6047 Harborough Road, near Harborough Innovation Centre.
